What is workflow automation?

Workflow automation uses software to run repeatable business tasks without manual effort: moving data between apps, sending follow-ups, processing documents and producing reports. AI automation goes further. It reads emails and PDFs, makes simple decisions and drafts replies, with a person approving anything important.

Automation FAQs

What is the difference between workflow automation and AI automation?

Workflow automation follows fixed rules, such as "when a form is submitted, add the lead to the CRM". AI automation handles unstructured inputs like emails, PDFs and messages: it can read an invoice, classify a request or draft a reply, then pass the result into the workflow.

Which business processes can be automated?

Most repetitive, rules-based work: lead capture and follow-up, data entry, invoicing and payment reminders, document processing, reporting, client onboarding and scheduling.

Do I need to replace my current software?

No. Automations connect the tools you already use, such as your email, CRM, spreadsheets and accounting software.

Do you use Zapier, Make or n8n?

All three, plus custom code. Zapier and Make suit simpler workflows. n8n or custom code suits complex, high-volume or privacy-sensitive processes, and can be self-hosted.

What happens if an automation breaks?

Automations are monitored. If a step fails, it's retried or paused, and you're alerted so nothing is silently lost.

How long does it take to automate a process?

A single workflow typically goes live in 1–3 weeks. Larger programmes are delivered one workflow at a time, so you see time savings early.
