Privacy policy

Last updated 1 November 2026

This policy explains how Code Hawker ("we", "us") handles personal information when you visit codehawker.com or contact us.

Who we are

Code Hawker is a web development and AI automation business based in India. You can contact us about privacy at contact@codehawker.com or +91 81930 39130.

What we collect

  • Information you give us. When you fill in our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and, if you choose to provide them, your phone or WhatsApp number, company or website, the service you're interested in and your message.
  • Information collected automatically. The page you submitted the form from, the referring website, campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source), and your browser type. We store a one-way hash of your IP address to prevent spam, not your IP address itself.
  • Analytics. We don't currently use analytics or advertising trackers on this website.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation.
  • To prepare proposals and quotes you've asked for.
  • To keep a record of our communication with you.
  • To protect the website from spam and abuse.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't add you to marketing lists without your consent.

Where it's stored and who can see it

Enquiries are stored on our own server and sent by email to our team. They may also be recorded in Oroe, our client management platform. Only Code Hawker staff who handle enquiries can access them. Our email service provider processes the notification emails on our behalf.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as needed for the work and our legal obligations.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing contact@codehawker.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 or the EU/UK GDPR, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Cookies

The website doesn't set cookies for tracking or advertising. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.
